NEW DELHI: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday defended former Jammu and Kashmir Governor NN Vohra and said that he has performed, as per the provisions of the Constitution. Disapproving the statement of J&K BJP Chief Ravinder Raina given on Tuesday, Mr Singh said that Mr Vohra maintained the constitutional dignity during his tenure. “The Governor’s post is a constitutional post, which has dignity. N N Vohra ji has been the Governor for Jammu and Kashmir for long time. He also had a long administrative experience”, the Home Minister tweeted. (AGENCIES)
