Jammu, Jan 29: Senior BJP leader and MLA-elect Jammu East Constituency, Rajesh Gupta today visited Paras Ram Hakeem Wali Gali at Jhullaka Mohalla locality in Ward No.2 his Constituency here in context with the up-gradation of lanes.
The residents complimented him for his eagerness in completing the developmental works which were stalled due to lackadaisical attitude of previous dispensation. They said that they are delighted to see their representative taking so much pain in mitigating their day to day problems.
Acknowledging the warmth and hospitality of the people, MLA Jammu East thanked them for providing him with appreciable strength through power of ballot to work for their welfare. After kick-starting the developmental work, Rajesh informed the gathering that the lane-work at Paras Ram Hakeem Wali Gali in Ward No. 2 shall be accomplished in two phases with an estimated expense of Rs. 2.75 lakh on each phase.
Gupta assured that making best use of his acumen, verve and sincerity, he will ensure the development of Jammu East Constituency. He said that it is now matter of short duration when people of this State will see the sea-change in the developmental front of this Constituency.
The residents highlighted some of the local issues to which he responded very positively and assured that he will consider the same at the earliest.
