SRINAGAR, June 9: Director General of Police (DGP), K Rajendra Kumar today visited All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at New Delhi and enquired about the well-being of Sub-Inspector Arun Kumar, who was injured while performing his professional duties at Jammu.
Mr Rajendra, while visiting the injured officer, talked with the team of doctors and requested to provide every specialized medical treatment for his early recovery. He also met the family members of the officer, accompanying him and expressed his hope that he will recover soon.
The DGP directed CID Cell JKP New Delhi to look after the injured officer and his family at Delhi. He said that all expenses for the treatment of officer would be borne by Police Organization.
