JAMMU, Aug 22: Locals of Panchayat Raipur, Upper A have appealed the Wildlife Department to take immediate measures against monkey menace in the area.
According to the local Sarpanch, Rita Devi, it has become difficult for the children and elderly people to come out of their houses because of monkey menace. These monkeys attack the people and pose a severe threat to day to day life of the villagers, she added
The Sarpanch, along with prominent locals, including Randhir Raipuria, Joginder Sharma, Rakesh Singh, Rashpal Singh, Mohinder Kumar and Sunil Raipuria, requested the Wildlife Department to look into the problem and take immediate action in this regard.
