RAJOURI, Sept 3: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Nowshera Ravinder Raina kick started the much awaited construction work of Rajal-Thill Hakkima road in tehsil Nowshera.
A large number of locals were present on the occasion. This was the long pending demand of the locals as the residents of the three panchayats were suffering badly because of no road connectivity.
Addressing the gathering, Raina said Rajal-Thill Hakkima road was the most important and significant road in Nowshera Sub-Division and with the construction of this road, not only the locals but the pilgrims visiting Baba Narsingh Dev Sathan for holy bath and pooja will get benefit.
He said with the construction of this road the large number of local residents of Rajal, Thill Hakkima and Hanjana will be benefited. “After becoming MLA, I started many prestigious projects like construction and upgradation of roads in various villages which resulted into better road connectivity in Nowshera-Sunderbani areas. He said in his tenure of two and half year, 132 new electric transformers were installed to overcome low voltage problem.
He said improvement in PHE schemes are his top priority and he had submitted some very important projects to the Government of India for funding. He hoped that the funds will be released in the time to come.
Xen Irrigation and Flood Control Ved Prakesh, AEE (R&B) Subash Sharma, AEE PHE Rajeev Ghai, JE Pankaj and Deepak and many others were present on the occasion.
