JAMMU, July 29: Political activists from various parties, including ex servicemen, and social activists representing Gujjars, Bakkarwals, Jats, Sikhs, SCs, STs, OBC and other communities from Nowshera joined BJP in a function at party Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here today.
Those who joined party today belonged to Narian, Sangpur, Dhagani, Rani Badetar, Rajal, Maanpur Dhanaka, Langar, Bhawani, Chowki Handan, Kalal, Bajan Bain, Kangri, Chingus, Laam, Ladoka, Raipur Patta, Raipur Kamila, Hanjana, Laam border and other areas of Nowshera Assembly Segment.
They were welcomed into the party fold by Jammu and Kashmir BJP president, Ravinder Raina in presence of Nowshera district Prabhari, Sanjay Baru, BJP district president, Neena Sharma, district general secretaries, Sukhdev Singh and Pritam Sharma, Mandal presidents, Ajay Choudhary, Shubham Lakhanpal, Harjit Singh, Ravinder Singh Nano and Rakesh Raina.
Ravinder Raina in his address lauded the ex Army personnel for their bravery to serve the nation on the frontiers. He said that the citizens of a great nation could think of development and worldly pleasures, when a Jawan sacrifices his life very far away from near and dear ones. He said that the BJP firmly believes that they will serve the nation with the same zeal and valour while discharging their services in the party.
“With each passing day, more and more people are joining BJP as they have themselves seen the good governance of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and want to strengthen BJP so that the wheel of development and welfare continues to benefit every region and religion”, said Ravinder Raina.
Raina also spoke on various welfare schemes launched for the benefit of each and every section of the society. He said that an era of social change and political empowerment of discriminated sections has been initiated under PM Modi, thus ensuring their participation in the decision-making bodies of Indian democracy.
New entrants shared their pleasure on the occasion and said that today, Narendra Modi has become the voice of the underprivileged and those who were neglected for decades.
