Railways give Rs 111 cr bonanza for Punjab: Chugh

JAMMU, Mar 3: BJP national general secretary, Tarun Chugh today said that Union Railway Minister, Ashvani Vaishnav has sanctioned four new projects worth Rs 111.13 crore for Punjab.
The projects include renovation of Rego bridge in Amritsar at the cost of Rs 48 crore.
A delegation led by Chugh and president of Amritsar Vichar Manch, Arun Mehra met the Railway Minister and apprised him about the difficulties faced by people.
Thanking Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister, Amit Shah for helping the cause of Punjabis, Chugh said the renovation of Rego bridge would prove to be a boon to people who have been demanding it for a long time.
The new projects included construction of two ROBs at the cost of Rs 46 crore.
