Rail stop at Chak village demanded

Udhampur, Mar 1: A meeting of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Udhampur District was held in Chak Village under the leadership of District president BJP, Rakesh Gupta. BJP State General Secretary Pawan Khajuria was present in the meeting as the chief guest.
Local speakers highlighted their problems which includes irregular supply of drinking water and electricity with low voltage. But their main demands were construction of road from Chopera Shop to Chak village construction of road from Chak Railway Station to Patla village, over head bridge and railway crossing barrier in this road. Speakers strongly demanded stoppage of all trains on Udhampur – Katra Railway Track which provides facility to Army personals because all units of Northern Command of Army Headquarter are very nearer to  Chak Raiway Station and it also provides employment and economic security  to the unemployed youths of Chak Panchayat and its adjoining areas.
In his address BJP State General Secretary Pawan Khajuria said that he will submit a memorandum to the Union Railway Minister for at least ten minutes stoppage at Chak Railway Station to provide facility to Army personals. He appealed local BJP workers to strengthen BJP Organization at village and Mohalla levels.
