NEW DELHI : Stepping up attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue of demonetisation, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi today demanded answers from Prime Minister and raised a charter of demands including removal of caps on withdrawals from banks, revelation of names of Swiss accounts holders and waiving off farmer loans.
Addressing a press conference after his address at the foundation day of the Congress, Mr Gandhi said,”The PM should reveal the list of people who deposited more than Rs 25 lakh in their bank accounts two months before demonetisation decision was taken.”
He wanted to know how many people have died due to demonetisation and if the government had given them compensation. (AGENCIES)
