Rahul Bajaj passes away at 83

 

MUMBAI, Feb 12: Business tycoon and former chairman of Bajaj Auto, Rahul Bajaj, passed away on Saturday. He was 83.
Bajaj passed away in Pune. He was battling cancer for a long time.
He had taken over the Bajaj group in 1965.
Bajaj was awarded the third highest civilian award Padma Bhushan in 2001.

In 2008, he had split Bajaj Auto into three units — Bajaj Auto, Bajaj Finserv and a holding company.

He is survived by three children Rajiv Bajaj, Sanjiv Bajaj and Sunaina Kejriwal.
