JAMMU, Sept 24: Raghunath Bazar Businessman Association held an executive body meeting today.
The meeting was addressed by Sanjay Gupta ,president of the Association. While speaking on the occasion, he highlighted various activities of his team during tenure of two years.
Association discussed various crucial issues.
First and foremost, one of the key topics on the agenda was the Smart city project in Raghunath Bazar. This project aims at transforming Raghunath Bazar into smart and technologically advanced environment with improved infrastructure, better connectivity and advanced amenities. This project will undoubtedly enhance the overall experience for customers. Members welcomed the decision of Jammu Smart City Projects Ltd that foot paths will no longer be widened in Raghunath Bazar.
Members appreciated the proposal of beautification of the Bazaar by laying down of cobblestone on the road and red stone on the footpaths.
However, members were of the opinion that as festival season is approaching and they have accumulated huge stocks in the shops the project should commence after festive season and completed in a time bound manner. Members also opined that App-based managed parking should be allowed in the Bazaar and loading / unloading points be demarcated.
It was unanimously decided to give extension to the present elected team, acknowledging their dedication and hard work .
The meeting was attended by Sanjay Sethi, senior vice president, Amit Goel, General Secretary, Pawan, junior vice president , Nitin Gupta, secretary, Mohit Gupta, Jt secretary, Ankush Sethi, Treasurer along with ex- office bearers namely Sanjeev Kalra, Manmohan Singh, Ajesh Rohmetra , Vinod Sachdeva, Virinder Puri, Ashwani Arora, Amit Kapoor, Vikas Gupta, M.M. Sharma and many prominent members of the Association.
