Raghunath Bazaar businessmen demand multi-tier parking

JAMMU, Dec 24: A deputation of Raghunath Bazaar Businessmen Association called on the DIG Traffic Police Jammu Shekel Beg and highlighting traffic related problem being faced by shopkeeper and customers coming to the bazaar.
They said that congestion created by unauthorized parking by adjoining Mohalla and other markets was resulting in frequent traffic jams and security related problems and cops be deployed to check wrong entry by two wheelers from City Chowk to Raghunath Mandir Chowk. No vehicles be allowed to be parked in Raghunath Bazaar from 8:00 am to 11:30 am, they suggested, adding that a multi-tier parking be developed keeping in mind the planning for next 20 years.
The DIG (Traffic) gave a patient hearing and assured deployment of traffic personal to stop wrong entry from City Chowk to Shree Raghunath ji Chowk besides ensuring strict enforcement of No Parking in the Raghunath Bazaar area from 8:00am to 11:30 am.
The deputation was headed by RBBA president Baldev Khullar and comprised of Bhuvneshwar Gandotra, M.M Sharma, Sanjay Sethi, Ashwani Kohli, Amit Ramesh Kapoor and Anoop Jain.
