JAMMU, Oct 23: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Sewa Committee (SMVDSC) Baridaran, Katra held a general body meeting at Katra and elected Rachhpal Singh as its President.
While speaking, the Baridars said that they had submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi through their elected representatives MLA Reasi Ajay Nanda, MoS, PMO Dr Jitendra Singh seeking justice to their community by rehabilitating them at par with the Baridars and Pujaries of Himachal Pradesh Hindu Religious Institutions.
On the occasion, a team was constituted for vigorously pursuing the problems related to the Ex-Baridars and Pujaries of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine, Katra, District Reasi.
