R P Singh reiterates appeal to Union Home Ministry on KPs genocide

JAMMU, Sept 2: BJP national spokesperson, R P Singh has reiterated his appeal to Union Home Ministry for constituting a Commission of Inquiry to identify the perpetrators who were involved in genocide of Kashmiri Pandits.
The appeal was again made by the BJP leader to Union Home Ministry today in view of the directions issued by Supreme Court of India while hearing plea seeking high level probe into genocide of Hindus and Sikhs in Jammu and Kashmir during the period between 1989 and 2003 and appropriate punishment to the perpetrators.
The Bench comprising Justice Bhushan Ramkrishna Gavai and Justice C T Ravikumar while hearing the plea asked the petitioner to approach the Central Government for the same.
RP Singh in a tweet referred to his earlier appeal to Union Home Ministry saying that the brutal murders of Kashmiri Hindus started over 30 years ago on September 14 in 1989 when the tallest KP leader of J&K, Pt. Tika Lal Taploo, a prominent lawyer was murdered and he fell victim to the JKLF terrorists. His killing set off a series of killings of Kashmiri Pandits, he added.
He while appealing the Union Home Ministry to constitute the Commission of Inquiry so that the perpetrators of genocide are identified and punished.
