JAMMU, Nov 23:  Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC)  today held strong protest against the BJP ministers for their alleged involvement in  real estate  and black money exchange scandal and demanded that both the ministers be exposed and sacked by the Government.
A large number of PYC activists under the leadership of Pradesh Youth Congress chief,  Pranav Shagotra assembled near Press Club here in the morning and started protest demonstration against Modi Govt at the Centre and PDP-BJP Govt in the State. They demanded that names of both the BJP ministers involved in real estate scandal worth Rs 13 crore and seizure of Rs 5 crore currency from escort vehicle be made public.  They said that action should also be taken against the BJP MLC who offered bribe for getting his flats projects cleared from H&UD Ministry and also police officials who did not seize the vehicle of the BJP Minister carrying huge cash.
Addressing large gathering, PYC president Shagotra said that duplicity of the self-proclaimed honest BJP leaders has been exposed after alleged involvement of some party ministers in shifting old currency notes and taking huge commission in exchange of granting permission for illegal construction has surfaced in the media. PYC president regretted that instead of providing good governance to the people, BJP ministers and their family members are allegedly involved in rampant corruption and mal-practices.
Pointing toward incidents of involvement of BJP’s  one minister in shifting of the demonetized currency notes worth Rs 5  crores and influencing the police not to seize the cash and allegedly  taking Rs 13 crore bribe in giving permission to construct flats by another minister, PYC demanded  that Govt should public the names of these BJP ministers. They asked the Government to come clear how permission was granted to construct flats despite objection by some quarters.
Ridiculing BJP Central leadership for claiming to make India corruption free, he said,   “Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is claiming to provide a corruption-free Government, but on ground their ministers are involved in knee deep corruption.”.
Senior PYC leaders  Rajvir Singh, Paramjeet Singh, Pankaj Basotra,  Balbir Singh, Rajan Sharma, Chetan Wanchoo, Charanjeet Singh, HS Chib, Ricky Dalotra, Anoop Gupta, Aijaz Choudhary, Sumit Sharma and Gurpreet Singh also accompanied.
