JAMMU, May, 11: Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) is going to organize a mega “Yuva Sankalp Yatra” from Jammu to Kashmir on May 13.
Addressing a joint press conference here today, Dr Umashankar Pandey, National Secretary of Indian Youth Congress and in-charge J&K unit and State PYC president Pranav Shagotra said that National President of Youth Congress Amrinder Singh Raja, MLA Gidraba from Punjab will lead this yatra to expose the double standards of the BJP-PDP Government in the State and to protest against the failure of the Government in addressing the youth related issues, especially, unemployment.
They said that the recently introduced recruitment policy of the State Government is a cruel joke with the talented and educated youth of the State and Youth Congress will fight for the revocation of this policy.
Mr Shagotra revealed that Youth Congress activists are going to organize the “Yuva Sankalap Yatra” to protest against the PDP-BJP government for failure in addressing youth related issues including the new requirement policy and the Yatra will be flagged off on May 13 at 12 noon from Jambu Lochan Hall, Near District Jail Amphalla, Jammu to Srinagar. It will be two- day yatra from Jammu to Kashmir region. The rally shall halt at Patnitop and will continue journey towards Srinagar via Batote, Ramban, Banihal, Anantnag, Bijbehara and finally reach Lal Chowk, Srinagar in the evening of May 14.
Senior Youth Congress leaders including Rajbeer Singh, Satish Sharma, Jitender Chib, Vijay Magotra, Ricky Dalgotra, Chetan Wanchoo, Sandeep Singh, Jagjot Singh and others will also be accompanying.
