PYC lambastes BJP over land acquisition ordinance, shifting of AIIMS

JAMMU, Apr 12: Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) President Pranav Shagotra lambasted BJP over the dilution of Land Acquisition Act 2013 and shifting of AIIMS meant for Jammu region to Kashmir region.
Pranav Shagotra was speaking in Nagrota Constituency today, at a programme organized by Balbir Singh Sarpanch and AYC President of Nagrota Constituency.
The Programme was coordinated by Advocate Charanjeet Singh Chicku, LYC General Secretary.
On the occasion, hundreds of PYC activists wrote Post Cards to the President of India to do not give his nod to the NDA Land Ordinance.
Shagotra accompanied by Rajveer Singh Manhas, General Secretary PYC, Ramneek Singh Senior Youth Congress Leaders conducted a day long visit of the Nagrota Assembly segment and interacted with the youth and general public regarding their issues and grievances.
PYC leaders addressed several gathering during the tour and people apprised the leader about their problem. People complained about the absence of staff in schools and hospitals, shortage of ration in the depots, bad water supply and unscheduled power cuts.
PYC leaders urged the people to put a united fight to defeat the designs of power hungry BJP-PDP alliance in the near future. PYC leaders assured the people that they will leave no stone unturned in highlighting their issues.
Pranav Shagotra PYC President speaking at the concluding programme of his extensive visit of Nagrota, at Manwal, he lambasted the BJP over the dilution of Land Acquisition Act 2013 by introducing the Land Acquisition Ordinance by BJP Government and added that the new ordinance has been passed to please the corporate houses, as they spent money for BJP during the Lok Shaba elections.
Pranav further said that the removal of consent clause from the bill is a matter of grave concern.
He added that PYC is fully ready to launch a region wide agitation for the AIIMS for its restoration back to Jammu region.
