PWS Ganderbal submits memorandum to DC

JAMMU, Sept 12: People’s Welfare Society (PWS) Ganderbal submitted a memorandum to District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal highlighting the various problems of the people in the area and sought immediate redressal of the grievances.
The memorandum submitted by chairman of the Society Mir Ghulam Rasool and its general secretary , Haji Ghulam Mohammed Mir demanded upgradation of PHC Wakura, filling up of posts of doctors and para medical staff in PHC Butwani, landline telephone facilities be provided to general public and Government departments in the area, developing the power infrastructure in Wakoora area , connecting of separate feeder form Khurhama Receiving Station with Butwani, providing basic facilities and infrastructure in Government schools in tehsil Wakura, providing advantage of horticulture schemes to the people in the area, removal of encroachments from irrigation canals and their proper renovation and de -silting, renovation of roads from Waskura to Wakura, Satkari to Narian Bagh and Zazna which are in worst condition, bettering the water supply in the area, posting of staff in the Government departments, bettering the transport facilities in Butwani and other areas of the tehsil Wakura, construction of playing fields and stadiums in Wakura which has ample land, development of Waskura, Ahan Khanpura and Shalhar lakes, providing of all technical facilities to Milk Society to be opened at Butwani and the Government departments in the area be made accountable.
