JAMMU, Oct 16: Kashmiri Pandit Conference( KPC ) in a meeting at New Delhi today said that nothing has changed for displaced Kashmiri Pandits who are the direct victims of Pak sponsored terrorism for the last 30 years.
The KPC president, Kundan Kashmiri in a statement said neither anti–national elements were prosecuted who made Kashmiri Pandits homeless nor killers of KPs were punished for their barbaric acts. Not any judicial inquiry was conducted about the forced exodus, ethnic cleansings and killings of Kashmiri Pandits during the turmoil so for despite of repeated requests made by the community from time to time.
Kundan Kashmiri said that Government of India has failed Kashmiri Pandits, who are the aborigines of Kashmir Valley as they are still living as refugees in their own country and no substantial measures were taken till date for their meaningful return to the Valley as per their wishes and aspirations..
He again reminded the Central Government that the Kashmiri Hindus are in 30th year of their exile and there are still no answers about their forced exodus, killings, the human rights violations and justice for them. He said that KPs want to know how long they have to wait, to remain ignored, isolated and have to be away from their homeland and when they will be given the right to live as per their choice as free citizen of Indian nation. Neither national and international human rights organizations nor judiciary as well as Center Government has taken serious view of KPs genocide.
