JAMMU, Feb 20: As the Pulwama terrorist attack has left the country shocked and invited strong condemnation not only within the country but also at the international level, India’s stand against terrorism once again stood vindicated. Sympathy and solidarity with India and the families of martyrs in this hour of crisis and grief has poured in from almost all nations of the world since they understand the agony inflicted by terrorists in a cowardice manner.
It was stated by BJP State Spokesperson, Balbir Ram Rattan in an official handout issued here today.
He said that this gruesome incident has left a big question mark over the role of so-called Human Rights Organizations and their activists in the country, who have chosen silence over the martyrdom of around 50 jawans.
“It is surprising and intriguing that even after 6 days of attack not a single word of condemnation, leave aside sympathy or solidarity, has come from these Human Rights activists. Whereas, they always raised their voice and remained vocal even when minor incident took place in Kashmir during operation in a complex situation and terrorists got killed in Valley,” Balbir expressed.
He said, “It is obvious that they are biased and functioning with a specific agenda of favouring anti-national elements and demoralizing security forces. Under the garb of Human Rights, these outfits are actually advancing the agenda of anti-national forces and are part of the anti-India entities”.
The Party Spokesperson said that the BJP condemns their role and wants all the political parties to raise questions about the bonafides of such organizations in the country, which have double standards and selective concern for Human Rights.
