SAMBA, July 12: A deputation of residents of village Chak Manga, Samba led by Sandeep Sharma, vice president Youth Congress, district Samba and Mukhtyar Ahmad raised various issues of their area with Vice-Chairperson (MoS) J&K State Advisory Board, for Welfare and Development of Scheduled Castes.
They pointed out that there is no proper drainage system in the village and dirty water is flowing and entering the houses of the residents. Further they also demanded to increase the capacity of electric transfer installed at Rest House, Samba feeding Samba bus stand and Chak Manga Panchayat from 400 KW to 600 KW so that people heave a sigh of relief from unscheduled cuts.
Vice-Chairperson Mrs Swarn Lata assured the deputationists, that she will put in all efforts in getting redressed the problems of the common masses.
