VIJAYPUR, Aug 13: Ahead of Independence Day celebrations and in remembrance of the martyrs who sacrifices their lives for the freedom of our country, a Tiranga Rally was organized at Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur, here today.
On the occasion, the officers/officials paid a tribute to the martyrs at the martyrs’ memorial and thereafter a Rally was held as a part of Pre-Independence Day celebrations.
The Rally was inaugurated by Principal PTTI Vijaypur, who highlighted the significance of Independence Day and the responsibility of police personnel in safeguarding the nation’s unity and integrity.
The event began with the unfurling of the national flag followed by a procession around the Institute by the participation of entire staff/trainees.
Earlier, a plantation drive under the theme “Ek Ped Shahedon Ke Naam” was also organized, in which various types of plants, including ornamental, medicinal, herbal, and fruit-bearing plants, were planted within the Institute’s premises.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from the institute’s staff and trainees, highlighting their commitment to environmental sustainability.
Among others who attended the rally included Zia-ul-Haq-DySP (Outdoor), Inspr. Surinder Singh (CDI), Inspr. Javeed Ahmad (RI), Inspr. Ram Lal (CLI) and SI Sulinder Singh (SM-Outdoor).
