Sir,
I think that the author has put his hand on the right nerve by giving a clear picture of the so called tutors who have the motive of amassing money rather than doing some good to the students. If we call such centres money minting centers, we do not think wrong. More often than not such tutors in most cases are a round peg in a square hole. A tutor having master’s degree in a certain subject coaches the student in other subject which proves detrimental to the students. These days there is flow of knowledge due to computers and other technologies and teachers compile notes from them to guide the hapless students after charging hefty amounts of money without clearing the concept for which the students engage tutors. The ill effect of the same is that except in certain cases, the students fail to get through the competitive examinations. How can a tutor clear the concept of a certain topic when he is himself ignorant of the same. Besides, the working condition of coaching centers is abysmal that is why the Hon’ble Court has taken a serious view of the same and directed the State Govt. to close such coaching or tuition centers where basic facilities are not provided to the students.
Yours etc….
