This is in reference to Dr Raja Muzaffar RTI activist’s article related to RTI information and ignorance of JKPSC. I am of the opinion that some KAS drop out candidates have filed RTI application to get xerox of OMR sheets and answer keys in JKPSC but despite lapse of more than two months the information so asked by these candidates have not been provided till date which clearly indicates carelessness and negligence of duties of concerned PIOs and First Appellate Authority on their part.
Then these candidates approached for seeking assistance to get the information from JKPSC. The author of this article listened to their greivances patiently and moved an application addressed to PIO JKPSC under RTI Act but again JKPSC failed to provide any information to him and disposed of his application on the ground that information pertains to third party and JKPSC will issue notice to candidates in this regard. Since Section 11.1 says that notice to third party shall be issued within five days but the JKPSC has failed on this count too.
Hope, the State Information Commissioner shall take serious note against PIO of JKPSC in order to make him correct for future.
