SRINAGAR, July 6: Out of the first ten, nine positions have been bagged by the female candidates in KAS result declared by the J&K Public Service Commission today.
Mohit Raina topped the merit list while as Pooja Rasgotra and Anissa secured second and third position respectively.
The General Administration Department had referred 142 vacancies of different gazetted services to the PSC in May 2011. The PSC conducted the Preliminary examination in September, 2011 in which 21,414 candidates had appeared. Out of these, 3555 candidates qualified for the Mains.
A total of 503 candidates qualified for the interview and Commission selected the required number of candidates within a period of one year.
