SRINAGAR, June 10: People’s Republican party (PRP) today demanded posting of doctors and para medical staff in 50 bedded Unani Hospital at Srinagar to tackle with the increasing rush of people there.
The PRP which met here, today under the leadership of its president Mir Ghulam Rasool while appreciating the ISM Department for introducing Panchkarma facility in the hospital said the same be given wide publicity so that the patients can take benefit of this facility also. He said that the hospital be provided with adequate staff to deal with rush of patients. Mir also took up the issue with Director ISM, Dr Abdul Kabir Dar who assured him that the Department will take up all necessary steps in providing staff and other infrastructure to the Hospital.
The meeting while welcoming the Shadi Pora Yatra of Kashmiri Pandits to take place on June 14 has urged the administration to make all arrangements for the pilgrims there. He said Kashmir has a long history of composite culture and people of the Valley have nurtured it for centuries together. He said the need of the hour is to strengthen the same by isolating the forces inimical to pluralistic character of Valley.
He said PRP will provide all help and assistance to the Pandit brethren visiting Shadipora and Kheer Bhawani. He said people of Kashmir are also eagerly waiting to receive their brethren as two communities are incomplete without each other.
