PRP holds election rally in Ganderbal

SRINAGAR, Nov 23: As the electioneering for first phase concluded today, J&K Peoples Republican Party (PRP) held a massive election rally and long march at Ganderbal which after passing through various villages of the Assembly segment concluded at Bihma.
A large number of activists and leaders of the Party including its State president Advocate G M Tramboo participated in the rally. The PRP workers raising slogans in support of Party candidate Mir Ghulam Rasool Butwani asked the people to cast their vote in his favour on November 25 elections so that a new era of peace and prosperity begins in the State.
They cautioned the people against the parties which have ruled the State since 1947 and failed to come up to the expectations of masses. Except hollow slogans they have given nothing to people which resulted into present unrest in the State, they added.
Addressing the rally Mir Butwani said that restoration of composite culture and traditional brotherhood of the Valley will be the priority of PRP. He said the Kashmir has suffered a lot over 25 years of turmoil due to the wrong policies of the parties which ruled the State as well as at Centre.
Maintaining that the clouds of change are hovering over the skies he said, PRP will take action against those politicians and leaders who looted the State over the years and no one will go scot-free. He said PRP has taken a pledge to end dynastic rule, corruption and nepotism in the State by giving justice to all.
The Party will ensure better power and water supply, job opportunities to youth, construction of more schools and hospitals in the areas which san these facilities and improve civic amenities and health care system in the State if voted to power.
