UDHAMPUR, July 28: A protest demonstration was held outside the office of Deputy Commissioner by the local people here today.
The people led by a social activist Ajaz assembled outside the office of DC Udhampur and started protest. They were demanding posting of adequate Medical staff at District Hospital Udhampur and other Sub-District Hospitals and Primary Health Centers in the district. They also submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner demanding posting of adequate staff in various hospitals, provision of medicines and ambulances.
Prominent among those who accompanied included Sunil Sharma, Manoj Khajuria, Gagan Sharma, Jugal Kalotra, Ch Mohd Rafi and Imtiaz Ahmed.
