JAMMU, Apr 27: The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (AG) under the leadership of Ashok Gupta took out a protest outside the PHE office at BC Road by holding Clay pots in their hands against the scarcity of water in Jammu city and rural areas.
Later, the protesting workers in the form of a deputation met the Chief Engineer and apprised him the sufferings of people due to strike of the daily wagers of PHE, stating that people of city as well as rural areas are suffering badly due to scarcity of water.
“Both the departments are with the BJP and the people of Jammu voted for the 25 members for their representation in the assembly”, Gupta said, adding that the next three months are going to be very hot and full of scorching heat, so an immediate resolve of the problem should be found out.
