Srinagar, Apr 2: People across Gurez sub-division in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district continued their protest today, demanding the all-weather road tunnel.
Led by Imam Hai Markazi Jamia Masjid Gurez, Molvi Ghulam Ahmed Mir, the residents held a protest demonstration and demanded fulfillment of their demand.
The Tunnel Action Committee, formed in this regard, has decided to observe shutdown for two days and has given a deadline of April 13 to State as well as Central Government to fulfill their demand. The people also threatened indefinite hunger strike.
