DODA, Dec 14: Locals of Gandoh here today staged a protest demonstration and flayed district administration Doda and sub district administration Gandoh for delaying the construction work of road from Chilly Pien to Chilly Bala for the last seven years in Block Chilly.
The protesting residents of Chilly Bala area and adjoining areas assembled at Chilly Bala and demanded immediate start of road construction work from Chilly Pien to Chilly Bala.
Irked over the delay in execution work of the road despite repeated requests to district administration, the protesters raised slogans against the district administration Doda.
One of the protesters Mohabbat Hussian said: “We will intensify our protest if our demand of road construction is not redressed soon.”
They said that people of the area were facing many problems in the absence of proper road.
