RAJOURI, Mar 29: The people from Muradpur area of Rajouri held protest demonstration against the shortage of LPG ( cooking gas) in the area.
A large number of people came out on the Rajouri-Jammu road and then held strong protest demonstration. They disrupted the movement of traffic for over an hour. They were shouting slogans against the CAPD authorities and District administration. They alleged that due to massive black-marketing of the domestic cylinders in connivance with police and CAPD officials concerned, the general public was suffering.
Later, SHO and Tehsildar Rajouri went to the spot and assured the people that their issue would be resolved on priority. The people then allowed traffic on the road.
