MENDHAR, Oct 25: The villagers from Dhar Galoon area of Balakote held protest demonstration against the School Education authorities and later submitted a memorandum to SDM for the higher authorities.
The villagers including Panchayat members from Dhar Galoon area of tehsil Mendhar, assembled outside the office of ZEO Balakote today and started protest demonstration. They alleged that ZEO has attached over 16 teachers to his office and in few other schools and with this many schools were suffering for want of required staff.
They raised slogans against the ZEO and higher authorities in the department and alleged that out of the total 16, four have been attached to the office of ZEO and others in several other schools. Many schools are lying defunct as teachers were not available. After staging protest for an hour, then they submitted a memorandum to SDM Mendhar demanding action in this regard.
