BHADERWAH, Oct 3: Property worth several lakhs was gutted in the fire, which erupted in a house at Saringhal locality here due to short circuit.
As per police sources, a fire broke out in a house at Saringhal locality during the intervening night of October 2 and 3 due to short circuit.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and fire fighters were pressed into service to douse the flames. After hectic efforts, the fire was brought under control, but till then, property worth several lakhs had gutted.
No casualty or injury has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained.
Police has registered a case in this regard and investigation started.
