Reference ‘Equal promotion of regional languages’ Daily Excelsior July 26, 2017. The views extended by the State Education Minister that no posts have been converted from Dogri to Kashmiri, hardly justifies the State Government’s commitment to promote both these regional languages of equal importance. To stand by their own commitment, it was for them to ensure that while creating a good number of posts of lecturers in Kashmiri, they should have created the similar number of posts for Dogri for its promotion in its own region.
