The Home Secretary has brought cheer to the paramilitary forces when he was speaking at a function of the ITBP. He said that the Ministry was seriously concerned with improving the emoluments of the paramilitary forces that were performing important role in national security grid at very difficult places. About 8 lakh forces comprising paramilitaries like CRPF, BSF, CISF, ITBP and SSB would be the beneficiaries. Though the Home Secretary did not spell out what precise benefits will accrue to the forces but there was an indication that the Chairman of 7th Central Pay Commission was optimistic about a number of facilities to be recommended for the paramilitary forces.
