Progress of work on Jal Jeevan Mission Schemes reviewed in Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, Nov 18: To review the latest status of Jal Jeevan Mission Schemes being executed in different parts of the District, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav today chaired a meeting of the stakeholder departments.
At the outset, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress achieved under the prestigious Naigad water supply scheme meant for augmentation of water supply to  Kishtwar town.
The meeting was apprised about the status of component-wise works, Work-wise DPRs, T S and designs submitted so far. It was informed that designs for Over head tanks, Reservoir and filtration are pending.
The concerned officials also informed that the 9 ongoing Languishing works are at different stages and will be completed within the stipulated time frame.
The DC directed the officers to adhere to the laid guidelines and maintain the highest level of transparency and accountability in the implementation process. He also exhorted the officers to put in coordinated efforts to achieve the desired results and meet the timelines set for completion of tasks at all levels.
While reviewing the status of allotment of tenders, he directed the ExEn to issue Letter of Indents/allotments promptly to the contractor so that  works are taken up immediately.
The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning, Mohammad Iqbal; Superintendent Engineering Hydraulic Division, Anil Gupta; DFO Kishtwar, Sagar Singh; DFO Marwah, Vijay Kumar; ACD Kishtwar, Atul Dutt Sharma; DIO, Amit Kumar, ExEn Ajay Talwar, Dy CMO, AEEs besides other officers.
