JAMMU, Apr 30: Government College for Women, Parade here today in collaboration with Gandhi Global Family organized a one day interactive programme on United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
Secretary Higher Education Department, Talat Parvez Rohella was the chief guest on this occasion.
Ch. R.A Inqallabi, Special Secretary, Higher Education Department and S.P Verma, President Gandhi Global Family were also present.
Dr. Hemla Aggrawal, Principal of the College presented the welcome address.
In his presidential address Secretary Higher Education spoke in length on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and stressed that these global goals can transform the whole world into an ideal society.
He deliberated on all the 17 Goals of SDG.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Prof. Sonia Khajuria.
