Program on ‘Value Education’ organized by Ramakrishna Mission

JAMMU, Mar 6: A colorful program on ‘Value Education’ was organized today by Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu, in its premises.
The programme started in the morning with lighting lamps by Swami Nirantarananda ji and Swami Satyamayananda ji and Sri Suresh Sharma ji, Member of J&K PSC. The day-long program was divided into three sessions under the chairmanship of Swami Satyamayananda ji, secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Ashrma, Kanpur, UP.
Teachers and students of many schools and colleges of the districts of Jammu, Udhampur, Rajouri and Reasi attended the programme. Total number of attendants was more than 200.
In the first session, Sri Suresh Kumar Sharma delivered a thought-provoking as well as practical speech on the topic ‘Values at Your Home’.
In second session, Dr VK Tripathi, Associate Professor and Director, SMVDU, Katra explained the ‘Values in Your School/ College’.
In the last session, Dr Kumar, Additional CEO of SMVDSB, Katra was the speaker on ‘Values at Your Work-place’.
Question-answer sessions were conducted interspersing the lectures. All the deliberations were very much fruitful and effective to build a personality in one’s life.
The program came to an end with the closing song by Swami Trinayanananda ji.
