JAMMU, Oct 30:
Former Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations, Prof R D Sharma was today given the charge of vice chancellor of University of Jammu.
Prof Sharma was handed over the charge after the Vice Chancellor Prof M P S Ishar resigned from his post on Tuesday in Srinagar over an issue of extension.
However, Prof Sharma a Professor of Commerce has been given the charge as he is the senior most among the faculty of the University. (AGENCIES)
