Prof Parveen Singh is J&K Student Coordinator of CSI

JAMMU, Feb 28: Prof Parveen Singh, HoD Computer Sciences, Government SPMR College of Commerce, has been appointed as State Student Coordinator of J&K for Computer Society of India (CSI) for the year 2019-2020.
Prof Vibhakar Mansotra, Professor, Division-IV Chairperson of Computer Society of India, who is presently Dean, Faculty of Mathematical Science & Director, CITES&M, University of Jammu, had recommended the name of Prof Singh.
Prof. Singh is recipient of several national as well as State awards including ‘Science Innovative Teacher Award 2013’, ‘Best Techno Faculty Award 2016’, ‘Distinguished HoD Award 2017’ etc.
He will be coordinating with student branches for organizing technically and socially relevant events, providing guidance and support for the management of student branches, promoting inter-institutional collaboration within the geographical unit, serving the student community in terms of knowledge-sharing, mentoring, initiating and promoting any other event that is in tune with CSI’s objectives.
