KATHUA, Aug 12: Prof Sumanesh Jasrotia, Associate Professor in Chemistry, has been elected as staff secretary of Govt Degree College Kathua for the current academic session.
In a simple but impressive ceremony held at the College by the teaching faculty here today, Prof Jasrotia was unanimously elected to the post. The entire election process was carried out under the supervision of Election Commissioners Dr Sangeeta, Dr Anita and Prof P K Rao. Principal of the College Dr B L Gupta also graced the occasion. Dr Jasrotia extended gratitude to the staff for reposing faith in him and assured the faculty members to work for the welfare of the staff and the college.
