JAMMU, May 28: Spiritual Light written by Late Prof Gangadutt Shastri (Vinod) a prominent Sanskrit, Hindi and Vedic scholar as well as a well known academician was released at a function organized by Jammu Kashmir Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti at K L Sehgal Hall here, today.
The function was presided over by Padam Shree, Prof Ved Kumari Ghai, former Head of P G Department of Sanskrit University of Jammu.
Pushpa Shastri and Dr A S Aman, Additional Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages were the guests of honour.
Dr Aruna Sharma read the detailed paper on the book Spiritual Light. Dr Bharat Bhushan Sharma , secretary and Sanchalak underlined the contribution and dedication of Prof Gangadutt Shastri for the propagation of Rashtra Bhasha. Dedar Singh, president Jammu Kashmir Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti read the welcome address.
The vote of thanks was presented by S K Shakir and the programme was conducted by Sunita Bhadual.
