JAMMU, June 6: Academic Council meeting, which was held on June 4 elected Prof Prakash Antahal to be a member of the syndicate, the second highest body of the University.
Dr. Prakash C.Antahal is the Professor and Head, Department of Economics. He is also the convener, BoS in Economics Prof. Antahal a UGC’s Post-Doctoral Research Awardee, is also the former Director of Patnitop Campus of the University of Jammu has published his research work in reputed national and international journals and has guided large number of Ph.Ds and M.Phil Scholars. He is also the Member of the Research Committee in Economics, HP University Shimla. His area of Research Interest is Energy Economics and Infrastructure Development.
