JAMMU, Dec 22 : Deno-uncing Justice (Retd) Gandhi Commission report on Kishtwar riots, People’s Revolutionary Movement (PRM) has rejected the same terming it as ‘highly disturbing, motivated and attempt to polarize the situation after debating from the core issue’.
In a statement issued here today, PRM, leader Rajinder Jamwal said that instead of concentrating and thrashing the core areas of concern of the Kishtwar incident, the one man Judicial Commission seems to have been influenced by the Omar Government and did every things to please the Chief Minister which is highly deplorable and cannot be accepted.”
Jamwal further said “Omar Abdullah is hell bent to destroy the age old secular ethos and communal fabric of Jammu by trying to impose his writ large on most sensitive issues arbitrarily and against the interests & aspirations of the people.”
He alleged that the constitution of Commission, managing ready made exoneration of his close aide Sajjad Kitchloo and subsequently his re-induction within 24 hours speaks of the malafide, nefarious designs and greater game plan to destabilized the already fragile living ambiance of Jammu in general and Kishtwar in particular where people are still scared of and the role of Congress is equally criminal which could lead to disastrous results.
Jamwal also urged people of Jammu to be united in rejecting ‘this most controversial and disturbing report, cutting across religious or party lines and demonstrate the unity among all by defeating the nefarious designs of anti-Jammu and communal forces.”
