JAMMU, June 11: Minister of State for Education, Technical Education, Culture, Tourism, Department of Horticulture, Floriculture and Parks Priya Sethi today said that during past three years State as well as Central Government have placed their trust in each and every citizen and empowered them to touch new heights with all those schemes aimed at helping different sections of society.
Addressing a public meeting at Kishanpur Manwal along with BJP Vice-President Yudhvir Sethi ,district president, Omi Khajuria & Nand Kishore, Priya Sethi said,”a detailed report about our government’s work at the Centre and State in a wide range of sectors speaks about the fact how it positively empowered 125 crore citizens of the country to new impacting lives”.
She added that detailed account of the efforts of the NDA Government at the Centre and BJP led Government in the State in different sectors including agriculture & education besides tourism reveals the efforts whose results would start percolating in days to come. The farmers income, she added is expected to be double by 2022 which would be a big leap.
Senior Vice President BJP Yudhvir Sethi in his address said that focus of the Government of India is to reduce government & enhance governance and that is what we are trying to replicate in J&K State as well. All other States are also implementing reforms at a quick pace too, he added.
Yudhvir Sethi said that both State as well as Central Governments were committed to make Jammu and Kashmir a self reliant State for which liberal funds are being provided and all three regions are witnessing an equitable massive infrastructural development. ‘In order to give our people an honourable life the government is working without any prejudice and has done away with casteism, nepotism, favouritism and appeasement policy’, she added.
BJP leader Omi Khajuria in his speech said that austerity measures adopted during past few years have not only helped governments save public money but also win over confidence of masses. He said that this was the reason Government was able to show to the world how with minimum government maximum governance could become possible both at State as well as Central level.
BJP leader Nand Kishore informed that sanctioning of AIIMS, IIT, IIM and strengthening of schools and colleges in Jammu and Kashmir are some of the key decisions that were aimed at helping students get quality education at their doorsteps.
