JAMMU, June 11: The leaders of various KP organizations including All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference, (ASKPC) All India Kashmiri Pandit Conference, (AIKPC), Kashmiri Pandit Conference, (KPC) Jammu Kashmir Vichar Manch, (JKVM), Soan Kashmir Front, Thinkers Forum, Kashmiri Hindu Conference (KHC), Sampooran Kashmir Sangthan (SKS) and others have reiterated the CBI probe demand into the murder of brave heart police cop Sameer Bhat who was treacherously murdered by his friend an SPO in J&K Police over 20 days back.
The KP organizations which met at Nagrota today warned to launch an agitation in case the Government failed to give justice to the bereaved family. The leaders made an appeal to entire community members to join the 10th Day Kriya of the cop on June 16 at Muthi Ghat to chalk out future course of action as the cop was killed under a conspiracy and the terrorist angle can’t be ruled out. The leaders demanded compensation to the bereaved family admissible as per rules which are given to other police martyrs killed in militant attack and job to his next kin.
Meanwhile Roop Krishan Bhat father of the late cop Sameer Bhat has made an appeal to Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti seeking justice for the family. He demanded that the case be handed over to CBI for probe and action taken against his killers. The family is not satisfied with the police version and it apprehends that the murder of their son is part of a conspiracy.
