JAMMU Apr 8: Former Minister and incharge Ladies Helpline, COVID-19 for J&K, Priya Sethi today kept an ambulance at disposal of the Jammu East Mandal people to shift the patients in case of any emergency during lockdown period to hospital.
On the occasion vice president BJP Jammu and Kashmir, Yudhvir Sethi, BJP Jammu East, Mandal president, Parveen Kerni and BJP Jammu East, Mandal general secretary, Vipin Sharma were also present.
While putting Ambulance at disposal of the people particularly for Jammu East Mandal ,former Minister said “It is our duty to help the needy in this time and that is why we are trying to provide all necessary assistance to needy people in our vicinity and around”.
Priya Sethi said that on the directions of BJP national president, JP Nadda and BJP Jammu and Kashmir UT president, Ravinder Raina, “We are serving free food etc to needy to mitigate the sufferings of poor people who got affected due to lockdown in view of COVID-19 at different places of UT and so provided Ambulance at their disposal for Jammu East Mandal which is also important service during this lockdown”.
Priya appealed the people to cooperate with the administration and not to come out of their homes as together we can achieve the desired results and make nation free from COVID-19
Priya complimented the chairperson, Nisha Verma of NGO named Sampark Economical Development Society, Jammu for this service whom she had donated this Ambulance from her CDF during the tenure as Minister of Jammu & Kashmir.
