Private schools challenge Govt panel on fee fixation in HC

JAMMU, Sept 2: J&K Unaided Private Schools Association has challenged the Government’s Fee Fixation Committee in High Court.
A writ petition J&KUPSCC V/S J&KGovt, & others has been filed under OWP No 1182 Dated. 29/08/13 at High Court of J&K at Srinagar with regard to the Fee Fixation Committee set up by the State Government vide order number  520 Edu of 2013, dated  07/05/2013, informed the Association president Kamal Gupta during a meeting of the Co-ordination committee, held under the chairmanship of Prof J L Kotwal, here today.
Three weeks notice has been issued to the Government and others for filing objections, he added.
Those who attended the meeting included R  Mengi, Ajay Gupta (provincial secretary cum coordinator), Vivek Chohan, B  D  Raina, O  P Chandel, Pardeep Singh, Sameer Saproo, Gambhir Singh Charak,  Rameshwar Manhas, DD Khajuria, Balkaran Singh, Ajay Dev Kotwal, Siddeshwar Sadotra, Ashok Kumar, Kiran Raina , Sanjeev Luthra, Rajeev Luthra, Ramparkash, Subash Kerni  and Vaneet Gupta.
