JAMMU, July 18: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor and State Executive Member of JKPCC, Pritam Singh here today inaugurated boundary wall work at Government Primary School in Shanker Colony of Ward number 55 (Kunjwani).
The work will incur a cost of Rs. 6.5 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion Pritam Singh appealed to the general public to cooperate with JMC in various development works undertaken by the Corporation in Jammu city.
He urged upon residents of his Ward to avoid single use plastic and polythene in routine works and shun the habit of throwing debris and garbage in public drains and lanes.
The JMC Councillor asked the people to adopt the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at their own level so that Jammu can be made neat, clean and beautiful city.
